How it works

MobilityBroker24 is a marketplace for trade between bicycle dealers. Buyer and seller never learn who is on the other side — the platform is the counterparty in both directions.

1. Register and get verified

Access is for businesses only. After you register we check your trade credentials; auctions and prices become visible once that is done.

2. Bid, or buy outright

Depending on how a bike is listed there are three routes:

  • Auction — you bid, and a bid in the closing minutes extends the clock.

  • Buy now — you pay the stated price and the bike is yours.

  • Price offer — you propose a different price to the seller.

A bidding agent bids on your behalf up to your maximum, so you do not have to sit at the screen until an auction closes.

3. Stay anonymous

In every auction you appear as “Bidder 1”, “Bidder 2” and so on. Neither your name nor the seller's is ever shown — not even after the hammer falls.

A traffic light shows where the current bid sits against the reserve: red below it, amber just below, green at or above. The colour is public; the number behind it is not.

4. Pay

After the sale you receive an invoice from MobilityBroker24 and transfer to us, not to the seller.

5. Have it delivered

We arrange transport. The cost depends on destination and goods, and is known before you buy.

6. The claim window

You have five working days after delivery to report anything that differs from the description. If nothing is reported, the delivery counts as accepted.

7. Payout

Only once that window has closed do we pay the seller. That is precisely why the money sits with us until then: it is the security of both sides.
