How a bike is graded — and why the grade matters more to the price than the model year.
Every bike is graded into one of three classes. The grade appears in the listing and forms part of the description a claim can later refer to.
A — as new, with no or barely visible signs of use.
B — used, fully working, with visible signs of use.
C — clear wear or defects, named in the listing.
If the condition on delivery differs from the stated grade, that is exactly the case the five working day claim window exists for.
