A blind auction means you see the bids but never who made them. What that changes in the trade.
In an auction on MobilityBroker24 every bidder appears as “Bidder 1”, “Bidder 2” and so on. The number stays the same for the whole auction, so the history is readable — but who is behind it is never disclosed.
For the seller that means the price comes out of competition rather than out of a customer relationship. For the buyer it means nobody sees which bikes they are clearing and which they are buying in.
The platform is the counterparty in both directions. Invoicing and payment run through us, not between the dealers.
